About Bill McGinnis, CFA
Bill's unique, extensive background adds a strong asset to your meeting room.
His career began with five years working in corporate profitability enhancement consulting and investment banking.
He spent the next decade as an investment analyst and portfolio manager, giving him experience with nearly every type of company imaginable. He was frequently quoted in Forbes, Fortune, Barron's, Business Week and dozens of other publications.
Almost fifteen years ago, Bill formed Exponential Careers, through which he consults with individuals, companies, and organizations on career / human resources-related issues. He also does some select corporate consulting on business strategic and financial issues.
Finally, for over five years he has also worked nation-wide and internationally as a securities expert witness. He has participated in cases involving investment suitability, insider trading, breach of fiduciary duty, research fraud, and libel. He is on the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Milwaukee and is the Code of Ethics & Standards of Professional Practice Liaison to the CFA Institute.
His educational background is in finance, computer systems, and economics. He maintians a relatively strong working knowledge of computers and continues to regularly publish articles on economic and business issues.
